EUROSOC#DIGITAL is offering a project day on the topic of democracy and opportunities for participation throughout Germany as part of #Democracy & You.

Using engaging and motivating methods, the project first focuses on educating students about democracy in order to strengthen their understanding of and trust in our political system. The focus then shifts to the students themselves. Using a mind map, they develop their own areas of action and opportunities for participation. These are then brought to life in the next step through the development of a campaign, encouraging the students to participate in democratic decision-making at the local level.

Finally, a discussion round with political decision-makers takes place, during which the students are encouraged to share their acquired knowledge and questions with the political guests, to debate and to reflect.
