Learning and Teaching Europe
Trainings for teachers on European civic education
The project Learning and Teaching Europe gives teachers, teachers in training and university students the opportunity to learn more about European civic education.
Based on our experience from past and present projects in general and vocational education we created this training program on new methods for European civic education. The training focuses on how to sensitise pupils for European issues, how to teach Europe in a different and more playful way and how to create and implement a simulation game.
The program includes presentations, group activities and a simulation of the European Parliament, where the participants will take on roles of Members of the European Parliament and will discuss a reform of the Common Agricultural Policy.
We offer the trainings in all German Federal States from January to July 2017. In addition, the participants will have access to an online platform.
